Dr Dilip V Kaundinya

Dr Dilip Vasantrao Kaundinya, meritorious since school days did MD [Path and Bac] from Government Medical College, Nagpur and became Professor and Head of Microbiology at the age of 31 years. The change of specialization and early promotion were a part of Divine package. Later on it taught me a spiritual lesson-“Whatever happens is life is always beneficial.” My prayers to God changed-“ God Do not give me what I desire. But give me what You have planned for me for You know best what is best for me.” A tough stressful time ensued at Swamy Ramanand Teerth Rural Medical College at Ambejogai, a Taluka place in most backward Beed District of Maharashtra. An unimaginably low level of cast politics shattered my dream of becoming a Director and a high achiever. The “Experiences” taught me another valuable lesson-“ The boat of truth may shake and stumble. But it shall never  drown .” The retirement in 2002 brought a quantum jump in my Quality Of Life[QOL]. I was so full of Energy, Enthusiasm and Happiness that others used to tell me;-“ You have now a facial glow.” But I used to tell them that “It is not glow but the oil seeping from my thinning hair to give a shine.” Regular practice of just half an hour of BK-Rajayoga in daily routine for five years gave emancipation from seven incurable diseases and a firm belief that BK-Rajayoga is the panacea for all the ills[Bhog] that modern man is suffering today. A goal was set-“ To include Spiritual Medicine in MBBS course.” Pre-ordained  Divine script activated the machinery. Dr Dilip V Kaundinya was appointed in 2013 as the chairman of a novel MUHS committee; to include spiritual medicine and ethics in MBBS course. A book with consciousness based approach to health was absent. Divine plan got it written by me in mere 21 days in 2003. But then an obstacle race began which gave firm unshakable belief that obstacles are the examinations by the Supreme Teacher to make you stronger. So in 2017 short add-on syllabus of spiritual medicine was unnecessarily sent to MCI and the MCI got dissolved. Now efforts are on to implement this syllabus a by a local decision by the Academic council of the MUHS. The first book got published in 2018. Now two more are in pipeline as M/S First Step Publishing have taken up the task. One book each in Marathi and Hindi translation are ready. But only time shall show if they really get published.
