Born in Ajmer, raised in a small district Bhilwara, Heena completed her schooling and then gave a whirl to journalism degree. She entered into journalism with the common dream of being on TV but soon realized that she had her heart and soul in writing. She completed her masters in Journalism and Mass Communication and took teaching as full-time career for sometime. She has worked as a freelancer with renowned dailies like The Times of India and Hindustan Times. Travelling, reading, writing and spending time with family work like meditation to her.
